The 2μm Polarization Beam Combiner/Splitter is a compact high performance lightwave component that combines two orthogonal polarization signals into one output fiber. The most common application is to combine the light of two pump lasers into one single fiber to double the pump power in EDFA or Raman Amplifier. The device can also be used as a beam splitter.

FT 2000nm Faraday Rotator Mirror (FM/FR), 2.0μm Fiber Laser

The Faraday Mirror is a passive device that provides 90 degree rotation regarding to the polarization state of the input light. The FM offers excellent performance including the lowest possible insertion loss and enviromental stability. It is used in EDFAs, fiber lasers and fiber instruments to mininize the polarization effect
